In 2008 Ryan and I heard of an opportunity to purchase a U-brew in the town of Port Elgin, Ryan’s parents owned and operated the same type of business in our hometown and the couple they knew, whom operated the store in Port Elgin, were looking to retire. Ryan and I were living and working in Toronto at the time and saw this as our way out of the big city and back to our small town roots and purchased Mister Beer from George and Marie.

We quickly out grew our space in Port Elgin and in 2018, purchased a building in the small town of Paisley where we are currently located.

Unfortunately, in July 2022 Ryan passed away. It took sometime but I decided to continue to operate the business in a part-time capacity. We will continue to operate our beer as ferment on premise and sell wine kits and home brewing supplies for wine, beer and cider.
